System Capabilities

Trading Nodes

Dedicated or isolated platform infrastructure.

FIX Gateway

Connectivity node between platform and provider layer.

Monitoring

Health, logs and service-state visibility.

Security

Hardening, access control and infrastructure policy.

Backup

Recovery planning and operational continuity.

Network Design

Low-latency-oriented topology where supported by the deployment.

Broker Infrastructure: scope and deployment

Understand the component, its dependencies and the checks to agree before production.

Plan the whole operating architecture

Broker infrastructure includes trading nodes, client access, gateways, integration services, monitoring and recovery. Identify the role of each system and its dependency on the others. A useful architecture describes ownership and failure behaviour, rather than treating every component as interchangeable hosting capacity.

Size and connect the environment deliberately

Collect expected account activity, data flow, service dependencies and network requirements. Review where components need to be placed and which access paths should be restricted. Dedicated server selection and location-specific hosting are narrower decisions within this broader architecture.

Prepare operations and recovery

Define monitoring coverage, backup responsibilities, restore testing and change control. Agree recovery objectives and escalation routes before production handover. Acceptance should include representative load and a controlled interruption scenario. Server capacity, uptime and latency should be based on the actual environment and written service terms.

Information needed for a project brief

  • System inventory and owners
  • Expected account and traffic profile
  • Network and integration dependencies
  • Backup and recovery objectives
  • Monitoring and support coverage

What determines the quotation?

Component count, capacity, location, resilience, migration and operating coverage define scope. Hardware, network services and software licences should be separated in the proposal.

Request a written scope with deliverables, exclusions, acceptance checks, one-time costs and recurring charges. Deployment dates and service levels are confirmed for the agreed project.

From requirements to handover

  1. Scope. Review the environment, permitted access and counterparties.
  2. Validate. Agree the configuration and test the specified workflows.
  3. Handover. Confirm acceptance, operational ownership and the support route.

Build the Required Stack

Architecture can combine platform, bridge, liquidity, hosting and operational modules.
